3 Tips for your New Year Goals!
‘I’m on a mission, no alcohol for 3 months!’, texted a very hungover friend on New Year’s Day. You guessed it right. For many of us, the party’s over & it’s time to sort our goals. So here’s a few tips to keep it fun. 1. Start soon! The longer you leave it, the harder it feels. If you really just loathe the idea of starting then take some time to think of why you want to do it in the first place? Start small but start soon. 2. Sample it! Make a sample day. On that day, do everything you intend to do this year & let the sense of fulfilment & achievement pave the way. 3. See the result! No matter what the goal, keep a visual tracker! It helps to have a simple checklist stuck in a handy place where you can scribble each day. It only takes a second and you know you’re on track! ** For example, here’s what I did. As a principle, the 1st or Jan is always my sample day! So on the 1st, I... - hit the gym (new workout 🏋️♂️, more core) - worked on my book - phoned parents - shopped a little (I usually leave it until my wardrobe’s depleted!) While I was in India, people kept saying, ‘why are you exercising on a break...it’s time to relax!’ ** We often associate ‘recreation’ with spending too much, eating too much, doing too little and as a result we often come back loathing fitness, bills and work! When we ask people how was the break, often we hear, ‘too short.’ ** I believe that it’s all in mind & if this is you, here’s an alternative mindset for you to adopt. Process Vs Customer Journey

Mindset to Feedback
Is there such a thing as having a mindset to receiving feedback. Constructive feedback is usually classed into valid, vague and unjustified. But I think there’s another strand where the feedback may be perfectly valid yet bedsides indicating the need for a change in how to do things, it may also hint as rethinking what it is that you do, who you work for and with. True to the example in the video, I’ve analysed the art of receiving feedback itself. I hope I’ve done it justice. Not analysis paralysis but purposeful analysis.
